Hugging Causes More Bites to Children's Faces

Dog never hug each other to show love, support and affection.  Instead it is a dominating gesture.  Dogs have superior subordinate interrelationships. If you are above your dog in status he will submit to being hugged.  If considered below the dog in status the hugger is challenging the dog for position.  To contend with the challenge the dog is often forced to bite the offender in the face.  Please watch the following video to see how a dog's body language changes when it is hugged.  Help prevent injuries and ensure no child hugs dogs or wants to emulate you doing it either.
